Job Description

We do things differently at Emergency CallWorks, by getting our testers working closely with our Developers and Business Analysts right from the requirements gathering stage. As a member of the testing team you'll be around to ask the awkward questions and try the scenarios that analysts or developers don't dream up.

We are context-driven.  Being a context-driven tester means that when selecting your testing objectives, approaches and tools, you first seek to understand the details of the specific situation in which you are set to test.  Only then can we as testers, through skill and judgment, apply the appropriate solution.  Context-driven testers learn what is needed, then we get our tool box to see what tools might be useful.

Minimum Qualifications

About you

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Quality Analyst or Software Tester, with a focus on test automation (or a recent Computer Science graduate with internship experience)

  • ?Experience with at least one open-source test automation tool and/or frameworks, such as Selenium, Fitness, Cucumber, Robot Framework etc.

  • Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), behavioral-driven development (BDD), and continuous integration?

  • Familiarity with Linux (or Unix, Solaris, AIX) platform and IP networking desired
