Job Description
To provide support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. To enhance and maintain the system by analyzing, designing, estimating, developing, documenting, testing and implementing required changes. To act as a direct liaison with user, technical support, training and operations personnel. To provide technical and administrative support to the department. This position will commit to fostering an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.
This position will support reporting and data analysis needs of the Research Administration office; assesses reporting requests to determine required effort and resources required to fulfil the request; interviews Research Administration functional team(s) to document requirements for data requests; researches and advises Research Support leadership on data analytics architecture required to support Research Administration data needs; implements and maintains data analytics architecture in support of Research Administration data needs; supports the IRAP grants administration system and other Research Administration systems through software development, system analysis, and issue diagnostics.
Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
•           Process reporting/data requests
•           Implement and maintain data warehouse / cubes
•           Support and maintain IRAP ETL processes
•           Support and maintain IRAP system
•           Develop and support custom applications
•           Performs other duties as assigned
Salary commensurate with experience.


Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferred experience:
  • TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Business Analyst, ETL and data science knowledge and/or experience
  • Interviewing functional teams to gather business requirements.
  • Developing data mapping for export and import into systems
  • SSRS report and dashboard development
  • Building and maintaining a data warehouse and data cubes in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Web application development using the Microsoft stack
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Software development using .Net, C#, MVC, Asp.Net, Visual Studio, ASP, Power Shell
  • Written and oral communication skills
