About us: at Conserv we’re building a platform to empower conservation professionals everywhere to do more. Our legacy is to bring better care to more of the world’s 450,000 art and cultural collections.

What we're looking for: Conserv builds sensors that help collections measure temperature, humidity, light, and vibration so they can take care better care of the collection. We need someone to help us assemble, configure, test, and ship our sensor hardware. Additionally we need someone to help 3d print our sensor enclosure. This is an entry level job with room to grow into more opportunities.

Essential skills: First and foremost, attention to detail. Familiarity with a Linux or Mac command line is a mustKnowing how to read a multimeter and solder is helpful, and if you have ever done any 3D printing, all the better!

How much time: the job is 10-15 hours a week and pays $15/hour. Ideally you're onsite at our office in downtown Birmingham every morning for a few hours every day of the week. That's the ideal schedule for us and we're flexible if your schedule is different. There will be weeks where we are busier, depending on order volume and the arrival of batches of product to set up.
