Event Description:

Speaker: James Franklin, CEO of TechBridge

In his role at TechBridge, James has grown the organization from being primarily based in Georgia to having clients in all 50 states and several countries.  Before joining TechBridge, he served as a General Manager for Omnilink Systems, a Location Based Services company; Hewlett Packard, as the head of State, Local and Education consulting; and Extreme Logic, where he ran the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The topic of James' presentation is, "Improve Economic Mobility Through Community Action."

Communities have been buzzing about collective impact initiatives over the years.  While the idea of community collaboration to rally around a critical need hits home, putting it into action requires discipline and data.  James will share with you some examples of how the power of community collaboration can make meaningful impact in improving economic mobility.  TechBridge believes that facilitating collaborative, community-based partnerships and building out a scalable platform for collecting and sharing data is key. A focus on data and measurable results helps nonprofits and their community partners streamline their work and better allocate resources. This collaboration and data sharing leads to new programs and/ or innovative approaches that enhance their ability to improve economic mobility.

We hope you can join us and learn how our community can make an impact in our region.
